The Southwest Florida Network of Pet Professionals (SFNPP) was created in August 2008 as a way for local pet business owners to network. The group is open to all pet business owners in southwest Florida, as pet owners often ask for referrals for a variety of services, such as pet sitting, training, grooming, boarding, massage, supplies, health care, and more.

We believe in forging friendships, referring each other, helping each other, and learning from each other. We believe that pet owners ultimately win when the pet business owners work cooperatively and ethically.

If you'd like to join and be included on this site, simply attend a meeting. Meetings are casual and free, and dogs are welcome. We occasionally feature special guests. We discuss issues affecting us all. Currently, meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at Animals by Nature in Sarasota (1215 Mango Avenue). Attendees are welcome to bring baked goods to share. Coffee and water are provided by Marne Weiss, owner of Animals by Nature.
